What is SEM and SERPs?

SEM (Search Engine Marketing)

Search engine marketing is also abbreviate as (SEM) is a kind of internet markeing or ( web marketing,online marketing, advertising marketing and e-marketing) which includes the promotion of websites by enhancing their visibility in search engine result pages are also abbreviated as (SERP's) by the way of optimization both (on off-page and on-page) and also by the way of advertising ( paid placement, contextual advertising, and also paid inclusions) based on context, Search engine marketing can be use in a term of Umbrella which covers the various means of marketing a website including SEO (search engine optimization) which rewrites a website content in achieving a highest ranking in search engine pages(SERP's) or it may be compare with the PPC(pay-per-click) and sometimes refferred to CPC which means (cost-per-click)


SERP's (Search Engine Result Pages)

SERPs means (search engine result pages) is a listing of web pages which are returned by the search engine ( designed to search information on world-wide) in response to a keyword Query (A web search query is a query that a user enters into web search engine to satisfy his or her information needs). And the result which are normally involve a list of web pages with their titles, A link to the page and a little description, showing where the Keywords (The keywords attribute was popularized by search engines such as Infoseek and AltaVista 1995) have matched content within the page not outside the page.SERP may also refer to a single page of link return or all page of links returned for a search Query.This is what we say SERPs.
